The fern images were stamped onto 140 lb. watercolor paper using spray inks. I spritzed the inks onto deli paper, then stamped the fern into them, and then stamped onto the watercolor paper. On some of them I also added a bit of pearlescent spray. These images were then adhered onto a stamped background using adhesive foam.
I had so much fun creating these cards that I made several, some to keep for myself, and some to sell in my Etsy shop. For a few of them, I used an aspen tree stencil and white spray ink to create the background.
I just love the bright colors and the watercolor effect of these ferns, and the almost ghostly aspen tree background really makes me happy. I liked that background so much that I created several of them...which of course means that pile of papers grows ever larger. Some things never change...
